If there is one thing that I love, it’s that my girls not only love to craft but they appreciate handmade gifts as well. When I saw a similar project I had an idea, pitched it to my girls as their class Valentine’s Day gifts and they said yes! I am so excited at how cute the is diy valentines turned out and can’t believe how easy they were.
There is a good chance you have most of what you already need and if not this project is very affordable.
You will need:
- Dum Drum’s Pinks Blues Reds Bag
- FloraCraft Floral Tape
- Green cardstock, I used my scraps!
- Hot glue gun & glue sticks
- Cricut cutting machine, check out this great deal

From here you simply wrapped the floral tape around the dum dum sticks to create your diy valentines. Once you have both wrapped cut about 2 inches of floral tape and combine the two to make your cherry’s.

Next you will need to make sure you print and cut from my Cricut project here. This has your leaves and “I like you cherry much” notes ready to go. I used cardstock for both and was even able to use some of my scrap pieces.
If this is your first time printing and cutting with the Cricut I want to welcome you! This is the same way you would print stickers or printed cutouts. When it comes to the Cricut the projects you create are endless. Make sure to check out my “Cricut” tag for fun projects I have created.
