Crafts Here, Crafts There, Crafts Everywhere
For this weeks blog train my friends and I have decided to bring you our favorite crafts (woohoo) . While I had to take some time and really try to narrow down mine, I could not find just one thing I love. However I did managed to learn that I would be what you call an Arts & Crafts crafter. So thats pretty neat. I definitely did not know that was a thing. But, I have to tell you it perfectly sums me up.
When it comes to crafts I love everything. From gift giving, home decor to school projects, you name it and I am always giving it a try. So for todays blog I just wanted to share with you a few things that I have enjoyed not only today but in the past. Let me in the comments if you have any questions!
Garden Crafts- DIY Garden Labels
This first one was quick and fun. After last years popsicle stick fail I knew I needed a change. So I wanted to make sure I had something more permit that could hold up to our Florida weather.
Fortunately I am a hoarder of most things and I just happen to have some broken bricks just waiting to be used. The bricks paired with acrylic paint pins made this magic happen. They took me about 5 minutes, most of which was spent on shaking the pins lol. And that was it. This quick and easy craft is perfect for those who want to decorate their garden.
Home Crafts- DIY Calendar
I was recently gifted the Cricut Joy and woah, what a life changer. I have been able to make every craft I could ever imagine. So after I masted my paper skills I wanted to test out my vinyl skills. I will say this, this was a little more challenging than I expected. But I stuck with it and I love it. Cricut offers a removable vinyl so I can change it up monthly to the mood that I am in. School Crafts
This is probably my most favorite craft. Any time I can create and enjoy one on one time with any of my tiny humans I am building memories that last a life time. Even though it may seem like something small, to them I can promise you it means the world. Not only is it homemade to give them pride over their work, it’s from you. Nothing else is cooler than that. Wanna make this craft? Head over to my Counting by 5’s Flower Craft Blog.
Gifting Crafts
Another one of my favorites! Nothing says “I love you” more than something made from the heart. At least in my book thats what counts for me. When someone goes to my a craft it’s not like they walk downed Targets isle and said hey that looks good! Most of the time they have an idea of what they think you would like and they roll with it. This could be art work from kids, pottery to add to your decor or even a bow for your little one. Gifting crafts are made from the heart and with a purpose. One thing I use to look forward to was when I would make gifts for my mom. She would light up with joy getting something made by them. This was our last mothers day together. She had these on her office desk to reminder her daily of how much the kids loved her. Now they sit on my desk to remind me how much she loved us.
Regardless which type of crafter you are just remember to have fun with it. After all it is what YOU love to do! Now head over to these awesome gals blogs and check out what craft they have to share with you! (click their picture to head to their blog)

May 24, 2020 at 6:43 amThese are all great ideas! I don’t have a garden but I have always loved the ideas of labels. Just seems more organized and neat to me you know? And yes please to any time spent crafting with my son. It’s fun to see his little tongue sticking out out of concentration! Too cute and plus the resulting completed project is a priceless one. I hope you are having a great weekend so far and happy Sunday!
